WHO WE ARE

At The Epstein Group, immigration is not just our area of practice — it is our shared history, our lived experience, and our calling.

Our firm was built by immigrants and the descendants of immigrants, who understand f irsthand how deeply immigration decisions shape lives. We know that immigration law is never just about paperwork. It determines where families build their futures, where children grow up, where careers take root, and where dreams flourish. That understanding defines everything we do. We understand the stakes, and we don’t give up.

A Practice Rooted in Personal Experience

Our leadership team brings together generations of immigration stories.

One of our partners immigrated to the United States from Brazil as a child, experiencing early on the uncertainty, long wait times, and reliance on legal guidance that so many families face. Witnessing her own family navigate the system revealed how powerful — and personal — immigration law truly is. Years later, welcoming her son as the first U.S.-born child in her family brought that journey full circle and reaffirmed her commitment to helping other families find stability and belonging.

Our founder’s family story reaches back even further — to Ellis Island in the early 1900s. Fleeing persecution in Europe, his ancestors arrived in the United States seeking safety and opportunity, working long hours to build a future from nothing. Through generations of sacrifice and perseverance, that journey culminated in the first Juris Doctor in the family — a legacy that now defines the values of our firm.

Our Managing Director’s path reflects yet another dimension of the immigrant experience. Born in Rio de Janeiro to Swiss, Portuguese, and African immigrant descendants, she began her career in public service, supporting underserved communities. After immigrating to the United States, she built her legal career from the ground up, later contributing to nationwide legal actions that recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for workers affected by discrimination and labor violations. That work reinforced a core belief we share: when applied ethically and strategically, the law can restore dignity, opportunity, and security.

Our Mission and Values

Because we have lived the immigration process ourselves, we approach every case with empathy, clarity, and accountability.

We believe immigration law should be transparent and strategic, that clients deserve to feel informed, supported, and respected, that strong systems and ethical guidance lead to better outcomes, and that legal success is measured not only by approvals, but by confidence, stability, and trust.

Our multilingual team communicates directly with the communities we serve, ensuring clarity across cultures and backgrounds. We work diligently behind the scenes so our clients can move forward with confidence.

More Than Legal Representation

At The Epstein Group, our work extends beyond filings and approvals. We are deeply committed to the community and supporting the neighborhoods our clients call home. We believe empowering immigrants means strengthening entire communities.

Every case we take on represents a real family, a real future, and real responsibility — one we never take lightly.
