Shayne J. Epstein

CEO of The Epstein Group

Shayne J. Epstein is the founder and CEO of The Epstein Group. Immigration is not only the law he practices — it is the story that shaped his family and his purpose.

More than a century ago, his great-great-grandmother arrived in the United States through Ellis Island at just 14 years old, fleeing persecution with nothing but hope. Each generation carried that sacrifice forward, building stability and opportunity. In 2001, Shayne became the first in his family to earn a law degree, honoring that legacy.

Today, every case he handles reflects that history. Immigration is never just paperwork — behind every petition is a family, and behind every approval is a future.

Marina Veiga

Partner Attorney

Marina Veiga is a partner attorney at The Epstein Group, and her immigration journey is the foundation of her career. Born in Brazil, she moved to the United States at the age of eight, experiencing firsthand the complexity, uncertainty, and emotional weight of the immigration process.

Watching her family navigate that journey revealed how powerful immigration law can be in shaping lives and generations. One of the most meaningful moments of her life was welcoming her son in the United States — the first U.S.-born child on both sides of their family. Today, partnering with Shayne Epstein, Marina helps families navigate the U.S. immigration system with clarity, strategy, and compassion, guided by lived experience and deep understanding.

Renata Wermelinger Cabral

Managing Director

Born in Rio de Janeiro to Swiss, Portuguese, and African immigrant descendants, Renata grew up witnessing the resilience and sacrifices that define the immigrant experience. After earning a degree in Nutrition from UERJ, she began her career in public service at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, supporting underserved communities.

In 1997, she immigrated to the United States and built her career in legal operations, contributing to nationwide actions that recovered over $500 million for workers affected by labor violations. Today, based in South Florida, Renata serves as Managing Director at The Epstein Group, overseeing operations and strategic growth while ensuring every client experience reflects accuracy, transparency, and respect. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
